My PSMF experience

Coming back to Singapore from the USA, I was forced to do a 21 day quarantine. So I’d figure I’d try a PSMF. I limited myself to 600-800 calories from lean protein. Plus a one day break.

I lost 6kg, measured after two weeks back a maintenance calories .

basically it was no fun at all, being stuck bored in a hotel room, all I thought about was food.

My BG levels were in the low 4s the whole time and I felt cranky,

Eating a tiny bit of food seemed to make me hungrier than straight up fasting. But it did seem to protect against muscle loss.

I think it would have went better if I upped the calories, and added a small amount of cardio.

I’ll try again in a better environment, in quarantine wasn’t it lol

You were able to get them to give you the food that you wanted for the diet?

my wife brought me pre-made meals. Mostly chicken breast, cod , salads, packs of cottage cheese, and a tub of casein protein. I didn’t weigh anything. Just estimated
