My third HbA1c test result

Treatment type
Diet only
It went down! Only by two, mind, but it's now 35 mmol/mol. I was convinced it would be higher.

I have an appointment with the diabetes nurse in about three weeks, but I guess this means I'm officially in "remission".
 
Remission, reversed or excellent control, whatever you call it, very well done! Keep up the good work!
Make sure that your Dr keeps all the annual checks you’re entitled to, eyes, feet etc… if they do choose to relabel you on your records.

Thanks all. I must admit to being pleasantly surprised. I'll be sure to get my free eye test, and to whatever else I may be entitled to.

On the plus side, I've given up the fags - five days and counting. On the minus side, I have a stinking cold - not related to anything.
