Nervous

I know the feeling - it is when all those small liberties taken over the last couple of months come back to haunt you.
It is perhaps a time for reflection over a soothing beverage and promising oneself that - if the results are bad then you might do better next time - or you might cheer yourself up with thoughts that it could not be as bad as you think.
I hope that your concerns are groundless - but wish you good luck.
I am due to face the Spanish Inqu -
Actually I am due to see the specialist nurse tomorrow, and even though I have got the results already, from a friendly receptionist, I am feeling uneasy all the same.
Soothing beverage time, I think.

Good luck! I'm in a similar position to Resurgam. I've viewed my HbA1c on line so I know that my result is good and I've lost a chunk of weight. I have my first review with my GP on Friday. I haven't seen him since diagnosis as I saw a different one in the practice at short notice then, therefore I don't know my own GP's views on low carbing or self monitoring. Spanish inqu.. or pleasant discussion? Hopefully the latter.

Fingers crossed for you. I felt exactly the same at my last appt.

Note to self: You know you shouldn't have had those crackers and cheese, and at bedtime, too! Shame on you Pauline!

I did lose 3 stone but I slowly put some weight on,haven't seen nurse for nearly a year and half used to see her every six months but they changed the system

Metformin keeping your weight off and lowering your insulin resistance?
I've seen a few posts wanting to go back on metformin but gp won't let them. Told to do without as theyve done it before.
If its what you don't want I hope your appointment fulfills your preference. Good luck for tomorrow @badwolfreturns :)
A very dangerous attitude from a gp, I feel.

Your test results last May and October were excellent @badwolfreturns. I also initially lost over 3 stone, but have gradually been gaining weight again. But my bs readings are still good.
Unless you have been eating lots of sugar and carbs over the last 3 months you should be ok. Good luck for tomorrow, and let us know how you get on.

Had good news and bad, doctor says I can try to get my weight down, bad news I do have a infection on antibiotics

6.2 is good. It's in the non-diabetic range. Well done!
And I'm sure you will reduce your bs and weight by your next test. :)

Ditto what @Prem51 said! I'd be really pleased with that result - and it's great that you're being seen again in three months. Keep up the good work!

Really sorry to hear you're not very well, though - hope the antibiotics kick the infection into touch.

Love Snapsy

Are you going to lose weight by stopping bread, rice, potato, pasta and cereals?
My none diabetic partner did and he's losing. He's very pleased.
The beer stopping may be a bit harder but he's definitely calmed it down.

Goodluck if that's what you do.
