I have been told by the doctor to take a new drug called Trulicity.
I am very scared.
I am worried that it will affect my mental health.
Also I had pancreatitis few years ago is this drug bad
Hi Gema,
I went over the Dutch leaflet, and it did mention acute pancreatitis, but only very rarely, in one in 1.000 to one in 10.000 patients. Still, if you want to try another way of tackling your diabetes, there's always diet.
https://josekalsbeek.blogspot.com/2019/11/the-nutritional-thingy.html might be a place to start. Thing is, high blood sugars feed into depression and anxiety. So if you get your blood sugars down, through diet, Trulicity or whatever other method... The odds are mentally, you'll be better off for it. I know it made a difference for me. I'll always be a wreck, but no longer one that's on fire as well.
Good luck,
Jo
