Testing is important in my opinion, less so at my GP's surgery but I am glad to see that it helped you decide on what to eat. The question of how much to eat is not so scientific but getting the combination of both right is what brings results.
Personally I didn't find it hard but I started to do all my own food preparation and cooking. It takes the edge off the appetite
However, I have started cycling and notice that I am hungry much more now. I will have to redouble my efforts.
Fish always gives me my lowest BG levels. I'd love to know what my trigs are. My GP isn't one for spending money on unnecessary tests however.
