Hi little mermaid. From the number of threads that you are starting I am guessing that you are in the early stages of diagnosis that is possibly shocked, bewildered, confused, upset and a whole host of other responses. Before people respond it would be helpful to know:
What type of diabetes you have?
What was your HbA1c on diagnosis?
What advice were you given?
You can choose to be medicated or not. It is entirely up to you. I would hope that other options would be explained to you if you are definitely Type 2(?). It is very difficult for forumites to make suggestions or reply appropriately without knowing some of your background.
