Hi all, firstly I would like to say how much this forum has helped. I was newly diagnosed type 1 diabetes 2 weeks ago and I am finding it extremely hard to take in. My anxiety is through the roof but discussions such as blurry eyes and how life can become as normal as possible has helped me cope. I do have a question which I hope people can help with, in terms of symptoms I have had a few hypos over the last couple of days, easily managed with fizzy drinks and not as scary as I thought they would be. I was sat on the sofa last night and my feet where extremely cold, I went to bed warned them up and had a slight burning sensation. When I have woke up today I can only describe the feeling in my big toe on my left foot as a dull ache - still have sensitivity but a dull ache. Should I be worried? A lot of the symptoms I think I am experiencing at present is in my head due and but after doing the dreaded 'Google self diagnosis' search they does seem to be a lot of symptoms around diabetes diagnosis with feet.
I would like to thank you all in advance, brilliant community and look forward to being more involved in the future when I get my head around things.
Many thanks,
Michael
