Customer helplines that use recorded menus that promise to put me through to the right person but never do - and being ill. Oh, and did I mention customer helplines :)
Impossible to diagnose on a forum so you really should ask your gp or diabetic nurse about this, it may be diabetes related it may not be.
Do you know what your blood glucose (bg) levels are? High levels of glucose in the blood are one reason for frequent urination but not the only one, I really would see a doctor about this

The Allopurinal is designed to help rid your body of a build up of uric acid, so yes, you are going to pee more than somebody who is not taking it because the excees get dumped in your pee. I have a friend who takes it and got so fed up with staggering off to the WC half asleep, he now takes a 'guzzunder' pot to bed each night.
not use a pot at bed, but do have one in the tent when camping, saves me undoing the flap and poking it out in the night, overheard some lady phoning home that she was disgusted by the thought
as for in the house, got an automatic loo seat detector stuck to the underside of the lid, bright green if it is down, dull red if it is up, helps a lot
