No insulin required snacks!

Anyone got any good snacks that require no injections (between meals).

To give you a hint I love pork pies, so suggestions of sliced green Peppers are not going to cut it! Haha.

What's your insulin to carb ratio? What's the issue with doing a bolus for a snack?

Insulin stacking at the moment as trying to sort out my long acting (tresiba from lantus recently).

Carb ratio varies through the day 1 unit for 7 in the morning (before tresiba, dawn phenomenon or foot on the floor!) but that's changing. Afternoon is 1 for 10.

Love cheese.... Especially with wine! Haha. However I do eat too much of it. Beef Jerky sounds good. Is there no sugar in the process?

Smoked pork-belly, cooked pork-belly, baked pork-belly, fried pork-belly, smoked pork-belly fried, cooked pork-belly fried, baked pork-belly fried, 200 different cheeses, nuts, olives, rolled-up ham slices with cheese, sausages (read the back of the package), different nuts, cold steak, cold or fresh omelet with pork-belly, cheese, onion, hard boiled eggs and did I mention pork-belly?

Jerky is usually salt and spices. It very much depends on the recipe.
