Non Diabetic Hba1c - As A Type One :)

Morning all!
Got my latest HbA1c this morning, and it came in at 40/5.8%
Not been this low since I was pregnant with my son fifteen and a bit years ago...



Not achieved with loads of hypos, as the medics will suggest at my clinic appointment next week, but with a keto diet, Libre+MiaoMiao and my Omnipod pump.

My mean daily BG levels have been 6.2±1.3mmol, with a glucose variability index of 1.2

Well done, that is fantastic!! I would never have believed it could be done without loads of hypo's pre libre. You are a great advert for both libre and keto! Im self funding my libre at the moment, not easy but small price for my health and still a little scared to go keto but slowly cutting my carbs, eating less than 50 a day so getting there!! Reading your posts keeps me heading in the right direction!!

I’ve been lucky enough to have it funded, I believe Welsh CCGs are all prescribing it now. Still very much a lottery for my English and Scottish friends though.
