The TARDIS came after the Land Rover, all thanks to a hot glue gun and lots of card board. All during lockdown, my time was spent productively. The dalek was more for me!
And yes, Milo has definitely taken over!
The 'baked bean' has almost been completed @SaskiaKC , it's taken a while, and I opted for a low rider, crate bike, chopper kind of thing for my 8 year old son.
Struggled to get components in the UK.
Don't look too closely at the paintwork! The bits I had to paint are as close a match as I could get.
The rest I've left worn and chipped for that patina look.
All I'm going to do now is fit a front brake, the rear coaster brake takes a while to get used to...
Coaster brakes are making a comeback here too, on beach cruisers (which look a lot like the "street" bikes we had when I was a child). Big fat tires, nice soft saddles, they'd be impossible here in the hills, but on a nice flat beach ... !
My Airline, a toy I got in the early 80s I loved it! And for most of my life I wanted to be a flight attendant, but I was too fat! No-one ever remembered this toy but then I found it on some retro forum, I thought for years I had imagined it!
Cool.
We had some toys when I was little. I had no idea what they were called and I FINALLY found them by Googling a description of them. Fun.
Evidently they're called Krazy Ikes.
