Not Yet Diagnosed, Is This Normal?

I posted the other day after just getting out of hospital after my 2 year old had a result of 14.9mmol. We were let home after they remained normal and I have to test them myself before every meal. This morning before breakfast it was 4.8 and I have just done it and it’s now 4.6, is it meant to go down considering he will have had snack time at nursery probably just over an hour ago? Waiting for a glucose test next week so in the meantime I’m just worrying constant

Hello @autumnsavannah I appreciate you are worried about this but there's no point worrying as you are worrying about assumed outcomes non of which have materialised yet. Worrying will do neither you or those around you any good.

The positive aspect is that if there is anything wrong then your 2 year old is on the radar, the tests you've done sound fine, so at this point the best thing you can do is get outdoors and enjoy the sunshine :)

Sorry I am just a massive worrier even though there’s no diagnoses yet. I’m a negative person and always think of the worst outcome and just looking out for my baby boy. He is at his nanas tonight so I will try and relax and have a nice night with my friend!

Hey its natural for a mother to be concerned about her child. Go out and let your hair down later with your friends
