Novofine Autocover

Hi everyone.
A few days ago I picked up a new box of my 8mm needles, but they are the Novofine Autocover ones. My problem is that they leave bruises, on my stomach I now have half a dozen of them, I prefer the ones I've been using because I didn't need to put much pressure on it and I could see when the needle was in completely, now I need to apply a lot more pressure so the the spring loaded cover retracts allowing the needle to go about its bisiness.
Has anyone else had this problem?

People who are touchy.......feign indignation at the slightest thing. Hypocrites, bullies and cowards.
Are these the needles you were prescribed ...? If not then take them back to the Pharmacy and get the ones that you usually use with no problems. If they are not in stock....tell them to get them.

If they are the ones prescribed by your GP then go back to him/her and ask for a new prescription as they are not any use to you if they cause you bruising. Ask for a specific brand that you used before.

I have had different needles at times but I certainly wouldn't put up with something that is damaging my skin !

Thanks Ken.
They are what was given to me, the same prescription as before but just different needles, same company, same length etc but just with the spring loaded shield.

I would still take them back.........they are obviously unsuitable for you. :(
