Annoying, but a pair of scissors should do the job.Anyone know why has Novarapid started putting labels on their invidiual cratridges, makes it difficult to get the cartridges out![]()
I think what Shandyt is saying is there is now an extra label stuck to the foil , I was a bit confused until I took a closer look .Fiasp and Tresiba always packaged individually. Cut up side and push out top. No problems
Hi,Why are you using cartridges and not a pen ?
From what I heard Novo Rapid is getting discontinued and replaced by Trurapi (I use that and Trujeo)
Read online and DN said when I was put on a Bolus, Trurapi is the replacementhttps://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/media/67e15a474fed20c7f559f4d7/10_novorapid.pdfHi,
Novo nordisk make Novorapid. Sanofi make Trurapi.
Where did you hear Novorapid is getting discontinued?
Edit. Just seen the disposable pens will be stopped. But not the cartriges for the reusable devices…
I would cheekily suggest your DN didn’t know about reusable pens?Read online and DN said when I was put on a Bolus, Trurapi is the replacement
She may have put me on disposable as I started injecting recentlyI would cheekily suggest your DN didn’t know about reusable pens?

Fair shout.
understand they go in a pen just was curious as to why people use them and not a disposableThe cartridges go in a pen.
As to the labels, is the writing on the cartridges in a foreign language? The label is a legal requirement if so showing the item information in English.
I've never used a disposable for basal or bolus (lantus and humalog) in the 40 years I used pens (now on pump), the cartridges take up enough space in my fridge and I'm not keen on the extra waste generated by disposables.understand they go in a pen just was curious as to why people use them and not a disposable
