I can’t remember if mine have that probably not since I haven’t ordered any for a short while as I’m on a pump. Although that photo is a little blurry my assumption would be it’s incase anything goes wrong and for some reason you don’t have the original box, it’ll have information like expirary date, LOT number etc basically any important information they’d need if there was a problem

Interesting.

Mine doesn’t have this.
Each actual cartridge is clearly labelled.

Unless it’s some new protocol with packaging specification?

Just annoying of the change after 20+ years they've decided to start doing that recently, used to be so much easier breaking the foil and popping the cartridge out :D

Fiasp and Tresiba always packaged individually. Cut up side and push out top. No problems
I think what Shandyt is saying is there is now an extra label stuck to the foil , I was a bit confused until I took a closer look .

Thanks @jaywak - that's exactly what I mean, so the world is in an environmental downward trend and the pharmaceuticals don't give a **** about it, lets just chop more and waste even more paper and label each phial , also the enclosed small leaflet is now nearly ann A3 size sheet , well it's the Marketingcompanies to get rid off :D

Why are you using cartridges and not a disposable pen ?
From what I heard Novo Rapid is getting discontinued and replaced by Trurapi (I use that and Trujeo)

The cartridges go in a pen.

As to the labels, is the writing on the cartridges in a foreign language? The label is a legal requirement if so showing the item information in English.

Hi,

Novo nordisk make Novorapid. Sanofi make Trurapi.
Where did you hear Novorapid is getting discontinued?

Edit. Just seen the disposable pens will be stopped. But not the cartriges for the reusable devices…

I would cheekily suggest your DN didn’t know about reusable pens?
I get mine prescribed through its once in a blue moon I need a replacement. I have quite a few spare?
(Weird accidents like a dancer sitting on one?)

She may have put me on disposable as I started injecting recently
and availability

I've never used a disposable for basal or bolus (lantus and humalog) in the 40 years I used pens (now on pump), the cartridges take up enough space in my fridge and I'm not keen on the extra waste generated by disposables.

(Sorry I'm in New Zealand and can't view your link.)

There is recyling company that wend you a large strong envelope to send them in. costs nothing
