Hi all , i've been type 1 for 8 years , althought not greatly controlled it's not `way out of control` my last hba1c was 8.5

Anyway, for the last few weeks I keep getting random numbness / pins and needles in my arms , hands and legs , even to the stage when I get it in my hands I can't even grip a pen properly.
Would you say its diabetes related , if it is , what would explain this ? I really hate having to keep bothering my GP but this has put me in tears not knowing whats going on :(

I suggest you definately consult your GP tomorrow. It could be anything and the quicker its diagnosed the quicker treatment can be offered.

I can't say yes or no, but have suffered with and still do, these type of problems.... T2 for one year, but gp thinks I may of had diabetic problems of more than 10 years...
It can be very painful, bother your gp, you should not have to suffer pain.
