Hello

I was just wondering is the Blue Circle the official logo?? Just wondering because I am getting a tattoo on my wrist with the word "Diabetic" and was going to get the little circle too?! :)

Hi NicolaAnne1994,
The blue circle was introduced as the international symbol for diabetes by the IDF (the international diabetes federation) back in 2006. I think you'll be pretty safe with that remaining true, but most importantly get a tattoo that you really love the look of.;)

Do Blue Circle cement have this registered already ?

Wow, I would be extremely careful here because the Red Cross symbol is one of the most protected symbols out there (e.g. Attacking any vehicle or person bearing the Red Cross is a violation of the laws of war, and thus wearing a Red Cross if you are not a Red Cross member is bad)

Oops! OK my apologies. I'll add a note to my original post then.

As an alternative, Google Images has a great selection of diabetic tattoos (ranging from a cute diabetic kitty through various medical symbols to a lovely hybrid butterfly) which may be helpful. My favourite however is this evil penguin who gave me a much needed laugh:
