If you never see any bad numbers why do you feel you need to test so much ? Unless your diet continues to change or you go onto insulin or are ill, I think you may be overspending ? Just a thought Turvell, each to their own.tell me about it. im an avid tester but if im honest i never see results that are bad
Fair enough lol ! Your control is good so it worksi find it quite interesting in managing what i eat etc. and i can afford it so i dont really care
Good idea. Sounds like you're doing just that.well also i will do anything that it takes to improve this condition, get rid of it or even survive it to be fair
Many here including me use the Codefree meter available from Amazon because the test strips are the cheapest. They are 6.99 for 50The strips are stupid money I'm so mad I can't get them on prescription. How dare they the money we pay into the NHS too

are they is it called codefree is that the brand?
I use one too. I have several monitors. If I test before and after food I use the same monitor because of the margin of error. And the CodeFree tubs are slimmer. Much better for fitting into the case. They're called SD Codefree and if you search for that on the Amazon web site you'll find them. Some people report they give different readings to their previous meters but given the tolerance for meters is plus or minus 20% of the actual reading that could easily explain the differences seen. And in an case as long as the readings you get are consistent then why would it be too much of a concern. Once you've got a good idea of what foods you can eat without spiking then you can ease off the testing regime. I have a Codefree meter and my readings were consistent with my last HbA1c test, so I'm happy with mine.
See the Codefree hereare they is it called codefree is that the brand?
