Little Eva had the original version of The Locomotion. In the sixties(?)

I think that was a one hit wonder!

She was the writers babysitter and they got her to sing it then persuaded her to record it

That little titbit came from Trains 2. The music is really eclectic mix of stuff from anytime from 1920's to present day.
