Was never a Country fan until my daughter moved to that part of the World. It was ALWAYS Motown and The Beatles.

Spent a fantastic evening at the Grand 'Ole Opry, Nashville a few years ago. We will return ....
 
Gram Parsons, Emmylou Harris, but yes, Motown .... 4 tops HUGE with me.

Even just hearing the word Motown, gets my blood pumping, love it so much and other similar artists :happy: :joyful:

Not a huge fan either, but Dolly Parton and Jolene,:) love it........enjoy :)

Just love the list some classics there my all time favourite is by The Originals, 'Baby I'm For Real' always make my hair stand on end( I'm bald!).
Followed by Smokey Robinsons 'Tracks Of My Tears' & 'Tears of A Clown'
But I would put in that list hundreds and hundreds more. I don't think I would ever get tired of listening to Motown.

Motown - It's Legendary Nosher :happy: :joyful: I'm going to google The Originals RRB :)

The Originals like many others at Motown started as backing groups.
They appeared on many of Marvin Gayes best work. When and if you listen to their songs, you will say to yourself, oh yeah I've heard that!
 
BTW, as much as I love that song ( many versions including Ricki Lee Jies )
