Yes, nothing heavier. Not even sure if that’s a full one or an empty one.
I will try to be good but it’s very hard when you have a messy partner who you constantly clear up after.
I have Sky Sports but not really into golf so will have to find other gentle pursuits to fill my time.

I don’t collect anything. There’s no room here amongst my other half’s sewing machines, embroidery machines, die cutting machines, material, wool, crochet yarn, hooks, pins, needles, bobbins, patterns, books, templates and various other craft accessories!.

I’m surprised there’s still room for me!

No. My partners been to Italy but never went to Rome.

My travels have usually taken me outside Europe to places as diverse as Burma and Iran.

Italy is on my list of places to visit. Hope you have a great time.

You could take up sewing in your time in dry dock.

When we had our boats, I taught my OH to use the sewing machine, should he need to do an emergency sail repair when I wasnit around. He didn't get hooked on it. If he tried my overlocker, I reckon he'd get hooked on that. I find that one a bit fascinating myself.

By the time you go back to work you'll have taken in all your clothes that have gone a bit loose. :)

Thanks. There is a lot more to Iran than people realise. Much maligned country.

But I’m all fingers and thumbs...I got a terrible report for sewing at school..

My OH is, by education and instinctt (if not necessarily reflecting his later business activities) an engineer, so he looks at things incredibly logically. He just loved the fact you could join two medstly sized pieces of fabric together to make a much bigger item.

I don't make small, delicate items. A couple of years ago, I decided I'd do some tailoring, but after years sailmaking and architectural canvas work, turning out a sharp shirt collar was a challenge. I'll stick with the big stuff now.

My OH is currerntly drawing up plans for this year's major sewing project. There will be lots of swearage involved along the way.

I reckon you'd like sewing.

Oh, if one of my sewing machines gets you, you're in bigger trouble than getting enough blood for a test strip! That meanie overlocker has 4 needles.

No, I really wouldn’t like it.

I love what my OH makes because she’s so clever but anyth8ng artistic or creative is out of my comfort zone...whatever that is.
