As I read through the threads here I've noticed mention of other diabetes forums. I wonder if anyone is able to recommend oter forums?

This is a great site and I'm sure it has everything I need but I'm curious :)

There are other sites, but this is the best. If you really, really want to know, there's a chap at Google, who can usually come up with a few ideas!

Yes I think this is a great site but I was curious because others have referred to other sites. I used Mr Google and there are quite a few to choose from. I just thought someone here would be able to make a recommendation for a good site.

I've been using this site for years and often looked at several others. There are always useful tips on other sites but I think this is the one of the best around

lol, good luck, as soon as the domain is posted it will be deleted by the "people", they don't like that. ;)

Oh I'm sorry if I've offended anyone here. I don't think I could get any better advice than there is here. I was just curious. Thanks anyway.

"People" ? Do you see people? ;-)

Maybe it is bad etiquette to post links to similar sites? Not sure what the rules are here to be honest lol

Other forums are out there and are easy to find. Some focus more on diet, specifically low carb, which is starting to become more popular, even with some professionals.

I know of one for LCHF. When I was first diagnosed, my doctors advice was to go on the internet and start with UK diabetes. (www.diabetes.org.uk) which is the site which NHS professionals go - they really shouldn't! I discovered this site by accident and it was a life saver. Totto suggested www.dietdoctor.com which is the largest health blogg in Sweden , written by Andreas Eenfeldt, a doctor, specialising in obesity and diabetes. The site is in English and Swedish. I go onto the Swedish version but you can post on the English version too. It was an eye opener for me and probably the reason why I follow the LCHF way of life.

Would be good to find one specifically for my own type I must admit.
I like it here too but sometimes it's difficult to give or receive advice because of the difference in types.
