Parkrun

Have completed the Boscombe 10k in 52 min 13 secs,PB and previous to that broke my 25 min barrier for the weymouth parkrun (24min 48secs) a PB of -31secs.

This running lark is a real bug and those few miles of pain or exhaustion are soon forgotten when the endorphins kick in followed by the results. Every race has been a PB for me so I'm hoping the same will be the case tomorrow.

The sugar levels remain under control, all is going well and determined to maintain my fitness through the cold winter months. Mid week speed training under street lamps proving very entertaining

awesome times mate :), ive had a couple of weeks off due to a bad cold, i went out tonight and did 5k slowly to see how it went, it was hard as the colds still clinging on, but its actually cleared my nose so cant wait till the parkrun in the morning

I have a huge piece of carrot cake to get rid off. Temptation got the better of me. I may be a tad sluggish tomorrow.

My bad

great going mate :)

i didnt do the parkrun today :( , i decided i wasnt 100% yet and wanted to be able to stop when i wanted, i know if id done the park run id have pushed myself so i opted for an early run around the block so to speak, i only did just over 2 miles, then tortoise was poking hes head out of hes shell so i headed for home lol, glad i did really its best to ease back into it :)

Getting the 'Turtles head' and 'touching cloth' isn't great when you're not near any bogs eh!

Take it easy bud!

I am gobsmacked, just checked my emails and got one from parkrun telling me I had won a pair of running shoes.

woohoo, lol nice one! you just cant help beating me at everything parkrun can ya!

Hope everyone had a good run today if you attended one today. Wasn't expecting to attend mine this week and ended up with a new pb!
