.....on Sunday. Yippeeeeeeee!!!!!

My darling boy has got his old mum a ticket and I've bagged a return ticket from Leicester to London for 38 quid.

Come and say hi, I'll be the soggy looking skinny bird with dreadlocks, embarrassing my son by dancing in the rain, singing loudly and covered in mud.

Wow Libby, what a lovely young man you have there.

Enjoy yourself

Make sure you sing along to "50 ways to curb your glucose"

One of my favourites Mary!

He blames me for his huge love of music. They were both subject to all sorts of **** when they were younger and 'you can call me Al', an EP I bought from the local library for 20p, was played over and over again.

I have rather cute biker style wellies that are still muddy from last years beer fest at Appletreewick.

Sounds great Libby!! :D I grew up with my dad playing Simon and Garfunkel on Vinyl, quite like their music, really chill out, late night music,"Here's to you Mrs Robinson.."...Actually I had a brief thing with a real life 'Mrs Robinson' type when I was 17.{Cough,ahem,said to much now!} 8)

Paul, I am a single woman of a certain age and I have to fend the youngsters off. They all think they are the only ones to prefer an older woman. You guys should really talk to each other!

You lucky thing! Have a wonderful time :D

Good on ya Libby, we can show the younger generation a thing or two. I am certain my children don't believe I was their age once, and so know all the tricks.

Have a great time Wiflib, hopefully the weather is better on Sunday - it's St Swithins Day so if it rains that's it for 40 days and nights. As well as Fairport Convention's Cropredy Festival in August I've got tickets to see Leonard Cohen at Hop Farm in Kent in September. Saw him a couple of years ago and he was just awesome! I know some think he's a bit dreary but honestly, he was really funny - a very dry sense of humour. You've got a great son there buying you tickets - I'm normally the one who buys the tickets. He didn't even offer to get me a ticket for Red Hot Chilli Peppers earlier this month, then bragged about the gig on his facebook page

PS to last post. Hubby and I have a list of musicians we call "must see before they pop their clogs cos they're getting on a bit" So far seen Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, Leonard Cohen (having a second pop at him) BB King, Shirley Bassey (fab), would love to see the Stones as the last time was when they'd had their first single out (!), unfortunately I can also remember the night I went to see Pink Floyd at Portsmouth Guildhall and it was half empty because Led Zeppelin were on at Kimbells and Deep Purple were on at South Parade Pier!!!!!!
