I think this mainly Q & A session is very good indeed.

Don't be put off by the other guest being Tom Watson, he mainly stays unpolitical - as much as the audience will allow.
But gives valuable insights into :

What influences politicians
How much politicians are misinformed and must rely on so-called experts
Limitations on Government policy regarding Nutrition and food.

Good post, @ianf0ster

5:40 nailed it for me .

loved the "I Am NEO " quote in the food aisles...

Perhaps he isn't alone
maybe we ALL are NEO now. :D

Nice video. Thanks.

“You gotta find your own equilibrium” says Tom.

It’s a shame the man is stepping down.

If I understand it correctly, he is stepping down so he can focus on doing his part to solve :
1. The T2D epidemic
2. The Obesity epidemic
3. Help reduce the NHS burden through the 2 items above.

In which case I say - More power to him!

Maybe we'll see him around here a bit more..

Then again to go from prospective Minister for Health to a "campaigner" would seem to be a bit of a step down influence wise... maybe he's got a book out... oh wait....

Okay good. I didn’t know that was the reason. I thought it was at least partly to do with recent events between him and the party.

His new book has gone on sale today, see https://www.amazon.co.uk/Downsizing...1_3?keywords=downsizing&qid=1573685313&sr=8-3

As Deputy Leader, rather than Shadow minister for Healthy, he was unlikely to ever become Minister for Health.
Sometimes there is more influence by taking a cross-party position on things rather than being forced to knock the opponents position even when you agree with it !

Sorry I was sure I had read somewhere that he was shadow health but it would seem I was wrong.. mea culpa.
Apologies to Jonathon Ashworth (whoever he may be).
