Hi there everyone.

Just heard from an aquaintance that suffering from neuropathy and other conditions linked to our disease qualify for PIP(Personal Independence Payment} benefit.

Is this correct and does anybody have tips on how to complete the form for success?

Many thanks in advance.

Try this website. www.benefitsandwork.co.uk very good and helping. You do have to pay an annual fee to look at manuals which help you fill out the paperwork for PIP. Also have a forum.

A great link & beat me to it :)

I am currently circumnavigating the swirling pools of PIP.

Heard all the stories, so was very wary and did some googling.

Found that link from daily record (Scotland) who regularly seem to pop up in my timelines, etc with such posts .

So perhaps have a campaigning reporter.?

Anyway link offers a clear run through test, that points out how each portion is marked.

I found it very useful.

Hope it helps come the time

I’ve had diabetes type 1 for 40+ years had heart attack , lung op kidney disease ! However it wasn’t 7ntil I had my leg amputated that I receive PIP, get the CAB to help you they fill forms in for people on a regular basis ,

I used to be a disability employment adviser. Helped lots of people claim benefitthrough the Benefits and work site.
You don’t need to be a member to try this practise exercise
Important to remember you are awarded the benefit not for the medical condition, but for the restrictions to your activities.
