I don't know what kind of sweet things you crave. Cake? Cookies? Boiled sweets? Chocolate?what do you guys have when your sweet tooth shows it’s ugly head again?

You can find lower carb versions of all of those things if you crave them!
If you like chocolate and nuts: https://www.diabetes.co.uk/forum/threads/dark-chocolate-covered-nuts.183689/#post-2432736
Hi. This is what I would do. Probably totally wrong and my view on this changes all the time. Have a small cake or a small Kit Kat then - go for a very long brisk walk. But I had lentil soup tonight and a bag of hula hoop puffs and @ 2hrs I’m 9.8. I should have gone for a walk. X
I should have gone for a walk
Just what I was going to suggest. Lindt 95% works well for me, very very hard to binge on it.I find a square or 2 of very dark chocolate kills most cravings. Start at 70 % and work you way up through 85 to even 90 or 100%.
...Why would anyone shoot you? You're not going to get thrown out out the T2 club if you have cravings you know.Okay so 4 weeks since second diagnosis…loving life, eating well, sugars low
but today and yesterday I had a craving for something sweet. I can’t help it, ahhhhh.
what do you guys have when your sweet tooth shows it’s ugly head again?
I’ll be honest fruit doesn’t work for me. I don’t even want something to nibble weekly, just a little something when it’s all I can think about that one day
Gosh I really thought after 4 weeks I’d have forgotten all things sweet
what about those keto/Atkins chocolate bars? Bad idea?
I may be wrong but I think the cravings come when we lose focus, or if we are too stressed?
I am still going 'all guns blazing' to stamp out this pesky blood cell leeches.
They are doomed!

And hey, there's plenty of stuff out there you could still have. https://www.ibreatheimhungry.com/chewy-keto-pecan-cookies-low-carb/ were really good, I felt. And @Riva_Roxaban has a point with the Fat Bombs... Used to make those too, but these days cravings have mostly left me, so, not anymore. All in all, you do whatever works for you. And check online for whatever you fancy, just type keto in the search box as well, and you should get plenty of options... Even for brownies, lava cakes, cookies, what have you. (And fruit not working for you is a good thing, that'll make your liver happy.)
Relax. You're not in prison, and if you want something sweet, there are alternatives. Heck... You could even check a local chocolatier and ask whether they have sugar free praline's... I have found a few all over Holland that carry them! (Just don't eat more than 4 or 5 at a time, as the sweetener can have some impact on the bowels...).
@HurricaneHippo One of the former mods used to go on about "fat bombs" for a sweet tooth remedy.
Here's a link for some here.

Just be careful with low or no sugar sweets. Many of the sweeteners in them cause digestive problems, wind, laxative effects etc.
Mmm - Lindtt 85% dark chocolate (or 90% for me which you can work up to), with peanut butter on top or just on their own. couple of teaspoonfuls of extra thick double cream, strawberries & double cream, cadburys highlights hot chocolate with double cream (goes down a treat especially on cold damp days), phd chocolate bars (just check they don't affect your blood sugar - they do for some people) or check out these bad boys https://deliciouslyguiltfree.com/ which I order from weekly they are soooo good and defo taste like they are full of sweetness but LOW carb - lovely!
Edited to add - you can also get sugar free sweets if you look out for them - polo mints, werthers, etc. Also, Aldi do Moser Roth 85% dark chocolate and Asda have Godiva 90% dark chocolate (which is supposed to be lovely but unfortunately I have not tried as I don't have an Asda nearby).
