    4 th day of OMAD and keto my bg is pretty much 4.8 to 5. Anytime. I'm amazed.

    Can someone please enlighten me as to exactly when fasting level should be taken?
    Am currently taking first reading before breakfast, when I could have been up for a couple of hours, or only 20 mins.

    Fasting bg should be taken as soon as possible after waking. Some take it while still in bed before they get up. I do now, but need to keep cleansing gel on bedside table as finger needs to be cleaned first.

    This omad thing really makes a difference. It won't be above 5 all day. With a keto/high meat meal included.

    Am ready for dinner though at the end of the day. No way could I manage the longer fasting.
