Yeah right ,I had all the fun. Doing another trial on the carnivore diet, its VERY VERY effective but does not suit me, so will be back to higher carbohydrate diet @ ca 30 grams/day.

Why does it not suit. Taste, too much protein? Fat?

I'm getting closer to it. I eat a lot more meat than veg now. Bit pricy though.

I cannot eat large quantities of protein as they increase my BG readings. Because of smaller protein levels I need to eat about 80% fat. Thats a bit too hard to stomach day after day..I also need to limit vegetables, pity because I like them a lot.. To be honest I feel a bit trapped. Perhaps my endocrinologist will be able to enlighten me in the future after I complete the blood tests he asked for .But alas that is months ahead.

I have bronchitis and the keto diet has gone out the window for a few days while I recover. Will soon be back to the 5s hopefully.

Work was crazy busy yesterday and number 1 daughter meant all I had was an butter decaf between work and picking her up. .
In loose terms a 48 HR fast as I probably won't eat till 6 or 7 tonight. Last meal was Monday at 7.40.
