10???
yep and I have only had one at 10.5 and that was a piece of birthday cake which is a lot more carbs than I am used to. Sorted it our on the treadmill in 10 mins though. I don't think you are playing it is just that we caught it early enough and have been able to "sort it". I often feel for those less fortunate
Do you know I have often wondered if I could hook up a treadmill to my computer so that I have to run to make my characters run in my computer games. All these years and I could have been a top athlete just from playing world of warcraft.I think Andrew has his treadmill generating power for the TV ...

Sounds like your levels are brilliant don't think you have anything to worry about thereFor my lunch today I had fried tomatoes, egg, tinned mushrooms and a slice of burgen toast with butter. Before lunch my bg was 5.1, after 1 hour it was 5.6 and 2 1/2 hours it was 5.1. I missed the 2 hour test as I was out with the dog but 1 slice of burgen seems OK. I might try 2 next time
So your increase was less than 1 unit... So what are you expecting to achieve... One single permanent level?? This is not possible even in a non diabetic..

the point of my post was to show that my levels were OK after eating toast. I am trying to find out what is normal and what is not and that is why I am asking questions...
I personally would not look for peaks I only want to know what my BS is before and 2 hours after a meal and that is usually under 7 so I am happy with that. These are the guidelinesI was only testing before a meal and two hours after and read that people were testing more often than that so asked if that is what I should be doing. Would you just test at two hours and not look for a peak?
