A couple of months ago we bought an ice cream maker (about £28) and now make our own low carb sugar-free ice cream. It's not difficult and experimenting with flavour is fun. Our first batch was Earl Grey tea flavour - delicious on its own and even nicer drizzled with hot 85% cocoa chocolate.

At 14g per serving that's about 50% less than 'normal' ice cream and probably a wiser option. However personally it's approaching the limit for my own LC diet. I'll stick with our DIY no-carb creations
