Hi,
I have been diagnosed type 2 for two years in that time I have have lost seven stone and changed my lifestyle.
Last week I saw my diabetic nurse and she was very pleased as I keep a tight control over my weight now, and my Blood Glucose. But for the first time I had to send a urine test away, which I assume was to test for protien. Anyhow today I had a call to see the GP, but I am away at the moment, so they said it was not urgent, but I am waiting for a phone consulatation.
If it turns out there is protien in my urine, what will they decide to do. Will I have to take more medication and can keeping the blood glucose low, along with low blood pressure help me, if I do have a problem.
