My first pump appointment is on Friday I'm starting to feel seriously nervous as I've been waiting near enough eight years for this appointment my doctors and nurses that I've dealt with have always seemed very aposed to me getting a pump
I recognise that diabulimia was probably the reason that they were so against me having the pump but after 7 years of having this eating disorder I've finally beat it after a lot of kickin and screaming from my body my nurse has mentioned that she wanted me to be on the pump training session mid may but I still have the assessment appointment as the final hurdle I'm optimistic with my DSN mentioned the mid may training and she said I have a good chance with all the libre evidence and my current control
I'm mainly looking for some advice or if anyone on has been though this with the northern general team in Sheffield (S-Yorks)
Any advice would be much appreciated
