Pump belts

I got a Glucology pump belt for my Tandem T-Slim X2 but it wasn't very good. The weight of the pump caused the belt to slide down and, as there was no way of adjusting it, I've stopped using it.

I go running quite a lot and currently just clip the pump to my shorts, but that doesn't feel stable. Does anyone with a T-Slim X2 have a decent pump belt? I've looked a lot on Etsy but want to avoid buying another dud.

When I had a tubey pump, I found HidIn pump belts to be the best.
Their website (https://www.hid-in.com/) looks rather girly but I promise they have discrete belts (https://www.hid-in.com/shop/multiway-body-band?category=Multiway+Body+Bands) as well as ones with ears and eyes!
They are adjustable, comfortable and easy to extract your pump from.

I got mine from https://www.hid-in.com/, I got one with a window, but mine seems to hold up fine and the medtronic pumps aren't that light, I think they're the heavier ones

They are adjustable, comfortable and easy to extract your pump from.

Thanks. I think 'rather girly' is an understatement but the one from your link looks good. I think I will buy that in black.

A few years ago I bought a sports belt for runners that is sturdy and worn outside your clothes. It has a few small pockets to keep keys, phone etc. and would hold a pump. It is called FlipBelt. You will probably be able to find it on line.

Unfortunately I cannot find mine just now (medical problems prevent jogging) so I cannot tell you the make, but as soon as I do I'll get back to you. You will probably be able to find it on line.

Hi @ElenaP. Yes, I've wondered if a normal running belt would suffice. I might get one of those too.

So I now have my new pump belt and it seems to be a good-quality product. It certainly holds the pump in place.

Do you use it all the time or just for certain occasions? On Saturday I tried having it on all day but noticed the pump was very hot. I immediately worried the insulin would go off, which it seemed to by the early hours of Sunday morning.

It would depend what I was wearing - if I could clip my pump to a waist band or put it in a pocket (many women's clothes have no or very small pockets but if I had a large enough pocket in my trousers, I would make a small hole and feed my tube through it), I would rather not have something extra around my waist.
It was fine during exercise and evenings out. I would also wear it most nights wrapped around my upper thigh.
My pump never got "very hot" with it.

(I now have a patch pump so no longer need a belt.)
