Only 1 week until my little lady gets her pump, she is excited but I'm a bit nervous, really hoping that this changes things for the better

Good luck, it will become second nature to manage this in no time ;)

I am so, so pleased for you and your daughter, @Diamummy_ !

I started pumping last October, and my life has changed immeasurably. Although Rome wasn't built in a day, and it was a lot of hard work to begin with, what with getting my basal rates and bolus ratios nailed, I am just bowled over now with how very much it has changed my life.

Bear with the (inevitable, but in time, manageable) getting-to-grips-with-it process, and I'm sure you'll never look back!

Big cheers all round, love Snapsy

My 2 year old has just gone on the pump 4 weeks ago and she is gettinf frequent night time hypos which are very worrying as she doent wake up wen she has one she hets no symptoms so for the last 4 weeks ive been testing every 2 hours during the night and every night she has a hypo despite getting her basal rates changed everytime, she is now on the lowest basal rate and getting them, so we are looking into trying to get funding for a cgm with no luck at the min, hope you have a better time on this
