Questions about moderation

Hi, as you say you will be recruiting moderators in the next week, are we allowed to suggest or propose certain person or persons as potential moderators? I have noticed one gentleman who is with fair, neutral, wise, pleasant, sedantary personality and nature also great with pleasant humour and thoughtful with answers and replies to any help, advice, needed or requested. He would be an asset to the forum as a moderator and a fair player to all. Anna.

Hiya, blimey correct a mundo! there's loads of us that love reading his advice with encouragement n logical angles n points with great wit n humour in a style that is completely his own, yet always remaining non judgeamental neutral pleasant and fair.... Just wanted to echo what a few of you have said on this thread in that I love this forum as everyone i've spoken to is so helpful and understanding. I think it's great to chat to different people and get their view's on different ways of controlling our diabetes.

Unfortunately I was not around when, shall we say the **** hit the fan, so I cannot comment apart from that I hope the forum doesn't get too argumentative as it would ruin it for a lot of people who even though are not alone, may feel completely alone with their questions and worries about diabetes.

Wow, thanks for your nominations ladies, firstly I would like to thank everyone who knows me, my parents and my wife for all the support she has given me blah blah blah :lol:

Seriously the job or a job as forum monitor fills me with dread TBH and having taken on similar roles on other forums I would have to say it is not a job I would want, but really, thanks for the glowing appraisal of my talents

Actually like daisy I would hope that Sue and Ken will be offered their posts back after Benedict's public apology to them, he obviously now knows the truth behind the mischief makers, its actually a shame that some sort of communication problem apparently stopped Benedict from consulting with them in the first place when all this could have been avoided.

Whether or not they would come back after the recent events is anyone's guess, but I firmly believe that if they could be persuaded to do so it would be in the best interests of this forum.

It is interesting that almost every regularly posting member on this forum has publicly posted their praise for Sue and Ken.

By this you be referring to the rallying round of cronies. I've little doubt others are waiting to see if the deposed tyrants are going to behave themselves before raising their heads above the parapet. Many, like myself, found it so unpleasant and timewasting to deal with such bigotry; we gave up.

By the way it's not because of the demise of LCD that I've posted here. I've always felt saddened this otherwise great forum was moderated in such a totalitarian manner.

I wish Benedict and his appointees the best of luck and sincerely hope they don't include those tainted by their sycophantic allegiances to either side of past disputes.

Says the man who used to use the now defunct LC forum and still does use a blog to ridicule member' posts here.

Your description of some here was, "jumped up little twerps" I could go on and quote you but what is the point.
