The thing is, some of us a have been surprised how much we need to add in, and others how little they need to add in.
My only comment of this, aside from the fact that
@Brunneria 's suggestions of upping portions, then adding fats are pretty much how I did it. However, in my view, this has to be a controlled phase too.
I started by increasing my portions by a modest percentage, then maintaining that for at least a week; longer where it looked like it was working. When I moved on further and added cheese, I did it by adding a standard portion (in my case that was a Babybel cheese), then when that didn't work, a portion of nuts, which I measure by the eggcup full. That way I could understand exactly what I needed to do, then I could make adjustments to my wider diet.
I confess to being a complete data addict and no longer portion out like this (life's too short, long term), and maintain easily, under normal circumstances.
