Hello there, I have has a lot of success with a LCHF diet but have a question please. I now have found I am focusing on reading only the carb content on a food label (I aim for under 10 grams per 100) but wonder if the carb content is a catch-all for the sugar content too or do I need to read both? I always go for no sugar/hfcs/honey ect but if something has added sugar does this automatically up the carb content too? do I need to read all the ingredients to get a general idea or will the carb contend suffice? I hate shopping and and shop for and often with a family so find myself just scanning the carb content on the label. Does this work? I hope I am making sense? I have found I can tolerate a lot more now I have lost so much weight and use LCHF. thank you

I would assume any added sugar will be included in the total carb values on the back of the packaging.....:)
