So I have the flu jab on Saturday... (Baring in mind I rang up about 5 weeks ago as they told me to book it and I've had to wait this long) and now I have a sore throat, cough, runny nose and now I'm feeling a bit sick. I'm REALLY hoping it's just a cold! I can't be dealing with being ill again! woke up and my blood sugar was 15.4 :(((

Could you not pop into Asda or Boots or somewhere like that and get the jab? I need to get mine done but, yea, Agoraphobia..

Hi @Chloesnavy It sounds more like a cold - if you have flu you cannot leave your bed for about 3-4 days, i've only had flu once in my life while pregnant so couldn't take anything and your whole body aches, it really is very different from a cold. Take it easy, I believe some other posters mentioned about things you can take to boost your immune system so I would recommend stocking up on a good multi vitamin, vitamin c and echinacea and get your flu jab done this Saturday ;)
