No i didn't come think of it but i thought it was common knowledge that too many eggs are bad for u especially Duck eggs.

It was, about 10 years ago. Medical science moves on. It is known (not guessed) that cholesterol from eggs and other foods does not increase the cholesterol in our bodies. Our livers make 85% of our body cholesterol.

We often seem to go round in circles regarding eggs! I think we've probably been eating eggs for as long as birds have been laying them, and we've not come to grief yet.

Once upon a time in the sensible old days when I was a youngster, the advice was to Go to Work on an Egg - which always made me laugh as I had this daft image of them being used as a mode of transport rather than a good start to the day... :wideyed:

Emu eggs are my favourite, one egg equals a twelve chook eggs.

Powdered egg is plurry terrible though, I was pleased when we finally got to eat a real egg when I was a kid.

Thanks Kaylz91, Think I’m taking the recipes too literally! I’ll skip breakfast and scoff an omelette for lunch. Would like to know how many eggs you can safely eat a week though?

I eat 3 poachies every morning and have done for over 30 years, and still have no feathers and can't fly....

And if my tea time home cooked curry looks a little short of chicken I'd poach a couple in that too.
