Recommendations please for blood sugar/insulin logbook apps

Hi. I have used the MySugr app for ten years, but in the last year, for some reason to do with their being taken over by the Roche website, they have started suddenly, unilaterally logging people out of the app, and then there are technical difficulties with logging in again. They've done it again today and I can't get into my account. Password reset, Error message.

I am sick with norovirus and am trying to follow Sick Day Rules and can't access my insulin/blood sugar information in one place. Obviously this is is incredibly bad practice and downright dangerous, actually, so I feel inclined to tell them to stuff it. Although they have ten years of my records.

So what apps do people recommend? Needs clear interface, fields to log carbs and exercise activity, and needs room to write notes. It's for using on an iPhone. I enter things manually.

All suggestions welcome please.

Lucy

Do you still use the Freestyle Libre?
I simply use the LibreLink app to log those things.

Get well soon!

Do you sync a Novo pen with it?

My impression is that adding notes was quite clunky. But I can try.

The big downside is that I don’t always use the Libre. I get it myself & sometimes I can’t.

I’ll try. But still works like suggestions for freestanding app that’s well designed.

Any other recommendations for apps that can show insulin doses versus BG over time? MySugr does very useful weekly, biweekly, monthly, quarterly overviews & goes back as far as your records do. As far as I can see, LibreLink on the phone only does that for 3 months.

I don’t use Insulin so can’t help you with that, but if you set up a LibreView account you can see results from your Libre way back. I can see back to August 2022 when I started using Libres.

Yes, I have that. But what I need is to see, above all, insulin usage & patterns cf. blood sugar. The Libre apps/online versions are good, but they don’t have a field you can isolate on for insulin.

Maybe have a look at glooko? It lets you sync results from all sorts of places and is the one my cljnic have us all use with our insulin pumps, though I don't think you need a pump to use it.
