I do not have diabetes
Hi
I have very fluctuating levels in Shuggah. i’ve not been recording any carbs accurately because in many cases I don’t know what’s the carbs are. Eg a spoon of baked beans for example.

Do people record in Shuggah and what’s the best approach, or is there a better way of identifying as close o correct Carb levels to record.

I’m in UK rather than US methods unless they’re the same.

many thanks

I do record carbs as it’s the easiest way to remember when I ate and what spike follows. It definitely also shows me that not all carbs provoke the same response.

in addition I use an app called neutracheck which calculates the carbs from my meals and allows me to remember what I have eaten.

the two together provide very useful information.

I believe the Shuggah app links with a Libra CGM, am I right in thinking that? I don’t have one but I do use Carb Manager app to calculate and keep a record of my carbs.

The carb content should be on the can of beans.
If you place your plate on a set of kitchen scales and zero them, then you can add the beans and by multiplying the weight by the carb content you get the carbs in the beans.
