Recurrent Thrush

Hi All,
Since being diagnosed nearly a year ago, I just can't get rid of thrush. My blood glucose has improved.
My GP has prescribed me months and months worth of Canestan cream 2% it soothes but doesn't seem to clear it up.
Any ideas for treatment? Would be extremely grateful for any advice.

6/7 day treatment with pessaries/cream plus a pill to kill the relevant bacteria in your gut? Also, if you have a sexual partner, they may need treatment....
I take it you're using the cream with an applicator?

From the unexperienced male here, relating treatment that worked for a female friend: - cream or tablet treatment once per cycle x 3 cycles, same for sexual partner, plus oral bowel treatment tablets (i.e. ? Mycostatin - unsure of brand but they are not absorbed into the blood stream like Fluconazole) AND Vitamin D supplementation as advised by a Health Professional.
