I have worked with a doctor to find out that I am not diabetic, but my A1c has been rising .2% each year. I am eating relatively low carb, around 100g a day of complex carbs, zero sugars.
I am doing some running every other day. However, it seems this is not enough to guarantee the prevention of increasing problem.
Things I have seen people do: practice intermittent fasting, 16:8, some claim berberine is useful or might be as good as metformin.
I have non-diabetic A1c for now, but would like to see if I can reduce the problem via the above means.
Anyone has experience and can share whether any of this is snake oil ?
