Morning everyone, finally got the all clear to begin training again, so last night was deadlift 165kg for 5x3 nice and easy too. First one back and loved it, seven weeks to my competition so nose to the grindstone and all that, the road to 470kg total begins.
Take care everyone
Signed up for aqua aerobics tomorrow
I did Google 'training a weak wrist' but the answers weren't quite what I was looking for.....
Let me know how that goes - been thinking about that.
Will do. I think @maglil55 goes and has said it’s great for bringing bg down.
I love it. You soon get to know the regulars and it can be a laugh. I do Aqua Fit and Aqua Zumba. Both are pretty energetic. I'll be interested to know if your class uses aqua weights. I have my own large aqua weights and boy do these things get heavy underwater. Noodles are well used too. A seriously energetic class is deep water Aqua but a buoyancy belt is useful for that as treading water for 45 mins is a wee bit tiring!Let me know how that goes - been thinking about that.
Hello everyone
Today I did 15 mins exercise bike before breakfast. Late morning was 1 hr Aqua aerobics class. @Goonergal and @maglil55 I really enjoyed this. I have no coordination and can’t dance for toffee but as all of me except my head and shoulders was under water it didnt matter if bits of me weren’t doing the right thing at the right time. We did use ‘weights’ and I really felt the resistance - much more difficult than it looks. The instructor was good. She said you’ll basically get out of it what you put in. I was quite out of breath for most of it which I wasn’t expecting. I did 20 mins of breaststroke after the class to cool off.
10.5 steps in all.
When I first started I remember thinking how the heck can you sweat in a swimming pool . The weights are surprising aren't they? Mine are double size and really tough going.Hello everyone
