old dears - remind us all again of your age - aren't you with me in the over 60s "special" class?
Thanks but a big part of me is convinced those issues stem purely from LC WOE - but I have a cunning plan BaldrickHaving said that, I still managed to get through yesterday but all a little too much harder than it ought to be. I keep looking at the analysis of my daily food in Chronometer and hearing Johnny Cash - (I hurt myself today) but that's just me
11.5k steps today and so far no gastric issues. 3 litres of water to drink 1.5 of them with 0 cals and carbs electrolyte tablets. Let's see what tomorrow brings. @DJC3 are you getting padded shorts as well?
On antibiotics 4grms a day. I've had cellulitis on my nose and cheeks before and it's as painful as I remember, so is the feeling ill, hopefully I'll be OK for the comp@johnpol that’s a b****r have you got antibiotics yet? Hope it clears soon. I’ve never known it on someone’s face before, it must be awful.
10.5k steps today, mostly spent on a lovely accidental coastal walk. ( I was aiming for the fireplace shop but took a wrong turning and got distracted by the view so stopped and had a stroll - I really love being retired) It was only 2.5 miles round trip but some bits were very steep so did my leg muscles some good hopefully.
@zauberflote hope your ankles slim down again after the travelling. @ianpspurs hope your tum has settled - I sent off for one of those gel seats for the exercise bike today so thanks for the tip.

Hope the hectic weekend is kind to you. Both our work and church life are hugely important to your from what you write plus they are both important to others. Your walking is inspirational but take care and be kind to yourself. PBWY in all you do.Just about to wander off for my one proper day off this weekend (Bank Holiday Monday is going to be full of a rare catch up on Main Paid Work paperwork at home - and I need to do a bit of a church paperwork catch up as well.)
I am, however, totally up to date on all my walking targets, (no, this is not why I need to do the paperwork catch-up, it's just That Time Of Year when it all clashes and everyone wants everything yesterday.)
In fact, I'm off to celebrate 10,000 miles worth of walking since I began recording it all in the desperate attempt to control blood sugars in the mis-diagnosed T2 days, (worked until it didn't) and the fact I've kept it up since being on insulin without more than the occasional mild hypo whilst out on my immoderate amounts of walking!!
