Ooh my!
I've only had it an afternoon and I'm already impressed. Initial set up very easy, cartridge, cannula and tube prime etc all good, TBR easy to set for the ride home, 24 x 1 hour basal rates easy to set.
Let the fun begin.
The cases are too small for the pump and because of this the strips hit the on off button on the handset. If you turn the handset round then you have to take the handset out to do a test....
I've got the 70cm tubing for now and the 14U was just right. I've not played with that yet but will keep an eye on it.What length tube you got? How much are you priming through it?
According to instructions for 100cm tube, it should be set at 15 units.... No, this morn I primed for the 100cm tube and it fell short by just over an inch!! Had to do another fill tube and cancel it when drips came out.
When you prime your tube, you can adjust the settings to give a little more. I've upped mine to 17 units for my 100cm tube.
The cannula fill is set at 0.7unit for whatever length cannula used.. I don't understand that either... As it will surely take more insulin to prime a 10mm than a 6mm.
One thing is better when you leave the pump running for a bath, there is no suck back up the tubing for these sets. The rapid d's despite leaving running always had suck back up the tube.
Nice idea, i also have an mp3/phone armband thingy which I may try first. You could try using a socķ with narrow ankle band (kids) and make a hole in the foot toe part. Thread long piece of elastic or chord through hole and make a loop. Shove pump in the ankleband and hang sock over your neck. Go to bed, dont worry about where the pump is as.
If you mean the one for the handset, test strips and lancet, yes they gave me that one, but as you say, doesn't fit and the button on the meter kept getting pressed.
