Room 101 (like the TV prog)

Thpson I can't really stand and the co commentator on ITV. He is so patronising.
The commentator on sky who is a big Liverpool fan really freaks me out! Alan someone or other. It is embarrassing at times!
Ok, you are starting to redeem yourself!

Would have needed at least one barge pole and a trawler net!

Not to mention a baseball bat to clunk the others in there from getting out, and full on apocalyptic strength decon suit (and the perfumes mentioned may even eat through that  )

AND I have had a bath this week, even though there is no "R " in the month

(Edited to eliminate a rogue apostrophe . I can't believe I actually did that! *shudders * )

But... but... the risk!
Why would you do such a thing?

Didn't think anyone here was evil.
Our mission is to identify the evil and shove it into 101.

Or am I missing something?

Hate baddies!

They should be put in as well!

Nosher is trying to redeem himself by nominating everyone and everything into 101, to distract us from shoving him in.

It's working.

OK. Apple customer services people in the states.

OH wants to buy an Apple TV, but Apple US will not take a transaction from a credit card which isn't linked to a US postal address. OH call them to find a solution. Their Customer Services rep says, "No problem, sir. You can buy a gift card for the appropriate amount, then redeem it to buy the Apple TV. That way, the geographical issue goes away".

He tries to buy a gift card for himself. It can't be done. You can't buy a gift card for yourself.

Phone call to me. "Yes, dear. Of course I'll buy you a gift card......."

Gift card purchased, with delivery by email.

Gift card delivered.

OH happy, and goes off to complete his transaction.

OOooops.

You can only redeem the Apple Gift Card in the country where it is bought, so the issue hasn't gone away, and we have another issue of an Apple Gift Card we don't need, and still no Apple TV. I doubt Apple will be sympathetic.

So, Apple Customer Services can go in there.

I will call Apple UK tomorrow, probably to be told I didn't read the T&Cs closely enough, and be stuck with it. I doubt they will refund what s effectively cash.

By comparison to this morning's debacle, this is a mere irritation, but irritating nonetheless.
