This is an old thread and the original poster may not see your response.
however, be very careful with adding exercise to deal with osteoarthritis pain. It can be v helpful, but it can also do the opposite.
I went to a physio terrorist for my osteo pain in knees, but the exercises she gave me made it far worse and took 6 months to recover from. I was on crutches for three weeks.
- because the pain had been tendon damage not osteo arthritis (which I also have).
so please don’t always simply assume that exercise is the answer, or that general advice fits every case.
re the rose hip syrup, and compatibility, have a google for drug interactions.
there are several websites where you type in your drug/herb/nutrient of choice, and all known interactions will be listed.
I also believe that rose hips are available in powdered form as well as syrup. Depending on whether you want to minimise carb intake, that may be a better option.
edited to add:
In fact, this research into the benefits of rose hip specifically states that the research was done using powder, not syrup.
https://www.racgp.org.au/afp/2012/july/rosehip/
so I would be looking for that, in case it was more beneficial than the sugary stuff.
Note the date is 2012 and there are conflicts of interest)
