Sad to hear Animas pulling out from Pumping

I have an animas and find it very reliable. Never had a blockage, unlike some others I have read about. Very good support from the rep and animas uk. Hope all is ok and there jobs remain safe.

Probably not. The press release in the US allowed us to infer that the european operations probably don't have much life left in them. Johnson & Johnson's Diabetes division has been really struggling due to the age of the Animas products in the US and cost pressures in the Lifescan glucose testing business. I don't think it'll be long before they have no Diabetes business.

Given the increasing usage of pumps, the reps will have no problem finding a job with a new company. I expect a lot of the animas staff have already been contected var their linked in pages being invited to interviews.
