As diabetics suffering the hypo a lot of us will have Hypo Gel or what was called Hypostop, sometimes we are able to administer it ourself but there are occasions when a 3rd party will have to administer it to you!
Now it seem's not everybody is totally aware of or may get confused to how a 3rd person may administer this product..
It says that it may be massaged into the gums or mouth (or the posh words for this) but this is assuming that the diabetic is conscious but having problems with co-ordination or being a bit difficult with eating or drinking a fast carb!
Is should never be given or used on a diabetic who is unconscious, as there is a very high risk of choking..
